THE MEGA-EVENT READINESS REVIEW

Know if you
can win it.
And deliver it.
Before you bid.

A three-week review by the operator who delivered one of the largest staffing contracts at Paris 2024. You get a straight answer, a scorecard and a 90-day plan.

SHOT 2 · WALKING THE VENUE · PLACEHOLDER
For staffing, hospitality and events agencies bidding for LA28, the French Alps 2030 and Europe's biggest sporting events

WINNING IS ONLY HALF THE JOB

Most agencies don't lose
mega-events on the pitch.

They lose them earlier, on things the pitch deck never shows. Or they win, and the contract nearly breaks them.

01

Cash.

You pay thousands of people for months before the client pays you.

02

Surge.

Recruiting, vetting, training and deploying at a scale you've never touched, in weeks.

03

Compliance.

Accreditation, security vetting, labour standards and insurance. One gap and you're out.

04

Route to market.

Bidding direct when you should be subcontracting to a prime, or the other way round.

WHAT I LOOK AT

Eight areas.
No blind spots.

01

Surge capacity: can you recruit, train and deploy at Games scale?

02

Cash flow and financial strength through the payment cycle

03

Accreditation, security vetting and compliance

04

Labour standards and welfare

05

Workforce management tech and reporting

06

Credentials and references that actually count with buyers

07

Route to market: direct, subcontract or consortium, and with whom

08

Your bid story: what you win on and what you need to fix

HOW IT WORKS

Three weeks.
Then you decide.

WEEK 01

Diagnose.

Interviews with your leadership team and a review of your credentials, finances and workforce model.

WEEK 02

Stress-test.

I measure you against what organising committees, hospitality providers and venue operators actually buy, and map the tenders and prime contractors worth your time.

WEEK 03

Decide.

A two-hour session with your leadership team: the scorecard, a go or no-go on each opportunity, and your plan.

WHAT YOU GET

A straight answer.
A clear plan.

  • A traffic-light readiness scorecard across all eight areas
  • An opportunity map: which events, which lots, which partners, go or no-go on each
  • Your three winning bid themes
  • A 90-day action plan with owners
  • A two-hour leadership session, in person at your offices, wherever you are, or remote

WHY ME

I've been on the other
side of the table.

I started at London 2012, staffing the Club House. At Paris 2024 I delivered one of the largest staffing contracts in France, with a team I'd built from one to 70 in under three years. I know what buyers check, where agencies break, and what it takes to deliver when there's no second chance.

THE FREE SELF-CHECK

Are you Games-ready?
Ten questions, three minutes.

QUESTION 01 / 10MEGA-EVENT SELF-CHECK

Could you recruit, vet and train 500+ extra people within eight weeks?

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT ASK

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Is this only for the Olympics?

No. It works for any mega-event: the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups, Euros, Ryder Cup, Grands Prix and major festivals.

We're a US agency. Can you help with LA28?

Yes. The US hasn't hosted a Summer Games since 1996, so Olympic delivery experience is rare there. That's the gap I fill.

Do you work outside France?

Yes. Staffing and live experience is a small industry, and I've built and run operations in the UK, France, Germany, Austria and Portugal. I work wherever the opportunity is, on site or remote.

Do you write the bid?

The Review decides whether, where and how to bid. Bid support and building the delivery structure come after, as a separate mandate.

Do you work with competing agencies?

Never on the same lot or event. You get exclusivity on the opportunities we target together.
